Myter is a short film that explores how stories connect humanity across cultures and time.

Created for Denmark's national broadcaster DR & Aarhus University, the film traces the evolution of universal narratives like Cinderella from ancient Egypt and Tang Dynasty China to medieval Germany, revealing the surprising connections between seemingly disparate cultural traditions.

Our approach

We utilized a hybrid-AI workflow to create realistic visuals that transport viewers through different historical periods and civilizations. The production employs a documentary-style approach with scenes depicting ancient storytellers, biblical narratives, and mythological recreations – including the 4,000-year-old Pygmalion myth that continues to inspire modern films like Pretty Woman.
